All our candles are hand-poured with soy wax, to ensure that the candle burns clean. The wick and the wax are two elements in a candle that determine the amount of soot it emits. Paraffin-wax candles emit the maximum amount of soot which is why our candles are made with soy wax that is free of chemicals. Additionally, the wicks used in our candles are unbleached and made with cotton as opposed to a lead-core wick. Lead-based wick tends to release toxic debris and soot into the air, which makes it an unhealthy choice.
How long does your candle last?
Our candles are made with 100% natural soy wax, which burns slower and cleaner than regular paraffin candles. On average, a medium-sized candle (180–200g) lasts anywhere between 30–40 hours, depending on how you care for it.
To make the most of it, we recommend letting the wax melt all the way to the edges during the first burn and trimming the wick a little before each light — that way, you’ll enjoy an even, longer-lasting glow.
